Out and About

This is the type of car we drive. In fact it is an adapted van. It is a Renault Kangoo so Pete can now go out and about with me. I can wheel him up a small ramp into the back and secure him down with the special seat belts and we can then get out and about.

If you park this in a large car park, it is easy to find if you forget where you parked it.

We didn’t get a choice of car to drive. We had to have what was going at the time because we only had a certain amount of money. This does the job though.

I recently used it to get to the theatre where Chubby Brown was doing a show. (Pete is a big fan of Chubby). We went round the back after and got our picture done with him.

We used to have a renault extra adapted van but this was a write-off after somebody turned in front of me when I was going 30mph and I crashed straight into her. This is what it looked like after:
